Infant / Toddler Development

This course is a study of infants and toddlers from pre-conception to age three including
physical, cognitive, language, social and emotional growth and development. Students apply
theoretical frameworks in to interpret and understand behavior and interactions between
heredity and environment. This course emphasize the role of the family and relationships in
development. Students are required to observe children in a group setting.
